Concept

The concept of JAV HQ is clearly seen in its title, except for the Teen component. Japanese Adult Videos, brought to you in High Quality, is what their title should mean. The porn site is meant to be the Teen part of the large Asian porn network, introducing the sweetest young girls from Japan in relatively mild sex scenes, without much fetish or brutality. Despite the Photos section, JAV HQ is primarily a video porn site, which is clearly seen from the amount of content.

JAV HQ offers a thousand of full-length porn videos, devoted to young Japanese girls and exposing them in various scenes having sex with one or several men, wearing sexy costumes, taking creampies and cumshots and simply masturbating, too. The porn site definitely fits its concept except for only one thing: the quality. The poorly looking scene covers look suspicious already, but when you download and watch their “Full HD” video, you understand that it’s far from the modern definition of “High Quality”.

Scene format

Typical scene on JAV HQ lasts for 25-30 minutes, and includes a full specter of sexual actions, starting from posing in a sexy costume, stripping and exposing the beautiful young body, and to the multiple cumshots in mouth or in both holes of a cute Asian teen. The full-length videos have a good playtime and they thoroughly depict every action, so you’ll have enough time to enjoy pussy tease, sex toy play, fucking in many positions, including DP, the traditional moans of the Japanese girls and many other delightful things you may or may not expect.

It’s a very inspiring tendency, which allows the porn site to grow, not talking about the whole network, which has multiple daily updates.

+ Simple, but functional design with advanced search

JAV HQ doesn’t have very attractive design, but it does its job for sure: small upper menu grants quick and simple navigation between Videos, Photos, Actresses, Favorites and Network. Scene list cannot be sorted in any way, other than the newest videos first, but you can use Advanced Search to filter content by categories, model type and other criteria, which is very convenient. Scenes are properly tagged, including the model tag, so it’s easy to find similar videos. Ratings are based on the members’ votes (Up and Down). You cannot comment scenes, but there is a Favorites list where you can save the scenes you like the most.

+ Models have stats in their profiles

There are 187 Japanese girls in the list of Actresses, and each one has her stats specified in the profile. More than that, you can rate model independently of her scenes, just because you like her or not. You can as well add her to your favorites. The list of scenes with that model is conveniently placed below the photo and stats in her profile. Model index does not allow any sorting or filtering, so it’s more convenient to use model tags, available in each scene.

Despite the site’s title, JAV HQ does not offer any HQ videos in terms of 2016. The best they can offer is 1920×1080 resolution with just 3,114 kbps bitrate, which is critically insufficient to call these videos “Full HD”. There are no HD videos on this site, neither. 960×540 movies with approximately 1,500 kbps bitrate look nowhere worse than the 1080 ones. The third option for downloads is the 640×360 mobile videos. These have slightly over 1,000 kbps bitrate and are not recommended to watch on big screen. Earlier scenes allowed to choose between mp4 and wmv, but the latest ones are only available in mp4 format. The original resolution of photos is 2048×1364, which is good enough, but it doesn’t change the fact that JAV HQ is far from real HQ as we know it today.

Expectations vs Reality

You may be impressed by the promises of 4000+ scenes, crystal clear movies, no download limits and high download speed, new movies every day and other. In reality, you don’t get “crystal clear movies”, but other statements are kind of true. They refer to the network in general, so there are really as many videos and updates as they say. The quality is a disappointment, of course, but if you don’t expect true HD from a site with such name, you won’t be disappointed.

Payments

Monthly access costs $29.95, in case you are ok with the fact that you’ll be rebilled every month until you cancel it manually. If not, you may choose to pay $39.95 for one-time monthly access (but why?). Longer membership terms include 3 months for $59.95 and 6 months for $89.95. They don’t offer very large discounts for long-term membership, probably because they’re sure you’ll like the site. Don’t even try to take the limited trial, though, it’s a rip-off. SUMMARY

A nice Japanese Teen porn site. Uncensored, and with a plenty of content in various niches. Bonus sites add even more fine content in the member’s possession. No download limits and allowed download managers in this case look rather reasonable and convenient. The only thing that may disappoint you is the quality: the bitrate is too low for the resolution, which leads to a gap between definition and quality of video.
